A Person like a character in Cyclops

I visited one of my friends from the summer camp I go to. His name is Brad and I hung out with him for a weekend in the town he lives in southwest of the city. While i was there his Mom was always asking him to do errands for her when we went out or when we were at his house to do favors for her like take out the trash or help her pick up after his siblings. But the way she went about asking is what reminds me of Cyclops but instead of scaring him into doing these things, she guilted him into it or shamed him into it by bringing out things she did for him or that she works really hard and that he doesnt do much and that he needs to help her. It seems to me like a similar tactic that the father uses in Cyclops.
